Well for those of you who live in San Diego, know that just because school starts Aug 25th that does not mean that summer is really over. We still have several weeks of hang out at the beach or at the pool on the weekends. These photos were taken a couple weeks ago. We enjoyed hang out with our friends and playing in the water. As you can see, Tom loves the Kayak just as much as the kids. He is a wonderful hands on kind of Daddy.
I have been waiting for months to get a picture of Aiden with his top tooth gone. I love photos of kids with their top teeth missing. Its a sign of growing up, but they still look sweet and innocent. Aiden turn 7.5 on the 20th of August and I must say I was not quite ready for my baby to grow up. He is my first child and I have always look forward to each new stage with him. Mostly because he is my first experience at being a mother. I love seeing life through my child's eye. Aiden has made Tom and I so proud to call him our son. He truly has such a loving heart and finds great joy in being every one's friend. When I was filling out his paper work for second grade the other night, I had to catch my breathe for a few mins. Wow how can my baby be going in to second grade?? Second grade sounds so grown up. No longer one of the youngest on campus, but almost one of the oldest on campus. Tomorrow morning Tom, Morgan and I will walk Aiden into his second grade classroom and will hear over the loud speaker from the principal, that it is time to say good bye to our kiddos and go about our day. I know its going to be a wonderful year for Aiden and I look forward to what God will in Aiden life. But I know there will always be apart of me that treasures those early years and wish I could have held onto them just a little bit longer.

Yes, living in CA is great. Can't beat the weather!
Those young years do go by way too fast. I loved it so much, I decided to do it all over again :)
Oh Laura, that post got me all choked up! Your son is such a cutie-pie with his missin' tooth...and obviously he is a blessing to everyone around him.
Oh what a doll he is, Laura!
I love the toothless grin! Tell him I said it is so fun to stick your tongue through that spot...I used to tell all my first graders that when they came into class after losing their front tooth! So cute!
Have a great weekend!
Love and hugs!
